In an increasingly connected global reality, it is imperative that teachers evolve at the pace of technological and pedagogical transformations, incorporating digital tools in their teaching methodologies. From this perspective, this article focuses on analyzing how continuous training and the development of digital competencies interact as fundamental pillars for educational achievement in the current technological era. This study corresponds to a research developed with a documentary approach and through a design based on bibliographic analysis. The results reveal that the strategic use of lifelong learning together with the acquisition of digital competencies represents an essential factor and an invaluable opportunity to reinvent pedagogical practices and enhance success in digital educational environments.

Emotional education: a strategy for fostering emotional competencies in the classroom

In the educational field, the importance of providing students with a comprehensive education that encompasses, in addition to academic and cognitive development, emotional growth, understood as a fundamental component in human development, has begun to be valued. Under this approach, this article focuses on examining the approaches to emotional education, highlighting it as a key strategy to promote emotional competencies in the classroom. The research corresponds to a documentary study carried out through a bibliographic type design. Finally, it can be stated that emotional development plays an essential role in the comprehensive education of students; therefore, implementing pedagogical strategies and practices appropriate to emotional education not only enriches their educational trajectory, but also contributes to the development of essential skills to maintain a harmonious coexistence in diverse social environments and successfully face the challenges of adult life.

Development of digital skills as a catalyst for critical thinking

The main objective of this study was to examine how the integration of digital tools and competencies could enhance critical thinking and problem solving in the classroom. The method used was qualitative coupled with literature review and empirical analysis, allowing us to explore approaches and strategies for the effective integration of digital technologies in teaching. Interviews, observations and analysis of teaching experiences were used. Regarding the results, it was evidenced that the use of interactive digital tools and project-based learning increased students' creativity, active participation and analytical skills. The conclusions underlined that combining the development of digital skills with the promotion of critical thinking was essential to prepare students for the challenges of the knowledge society.

Artificial intelligence as a tool to improve critical thinking in elementary school students

The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of critical thinking in elementary school students in the Mauroa Municipality, Falcón State. A qualitative phenomenological-hermeneutic study was conducted, based on semi-structured interviews with 20 elementary school teachers who used AI in their pedagogical practices. The data were thematically coded using NVivo and triangulated with national reports and current academic literature. The results obtained showed that tools such as ChatGPT have fostered critical skills (deep analysis and problem solving). In addition, three key barriers were identified: unequal access to technology, insufficient teacher training and lack of inclusive educational policies. It is concluded that AI has transformative potential to personalize learning and strengthen critical thinking supported by: 1) investment in accessible technological infrastructure, 2) teacher training programs focused on critical pedagogy with AI, and 3) public policies that prioritize educational equity.

Communal economy in Venezuela: Evolution, fundamentals and challenges

The general purpose of the research is to interpret the experiential meaning given by the communal actors to the communal economy in Venezuela. The research had a qualitative approach with the application of the experience systematization method applied to the members of the communal councils. The results were obtained with the application of the in-depth interview and an interview script, in which the topics to be addressed during the meetings are included, so that prior to the session a socialization was carried out and the topics to be discussed were prepared, in order to control the time, distinguish the topics by importance and avoid misplacement and dispersion on the part of the interviewee. In conclusion, the study has a deep theoretical, legal, strategic and operative support of this category (Communal Economy) which infers a prospective of this as the new Venezuelan economic system.

Evaluation of the world class maintenance standard with risk approach

The identification of improvement actions to mitigate business risks has become an increasingly important area of study. This study presents a procedure aimed at defining improvement actions for the characteristic elements of world class maintenance in a tourist village, based on the risk management philosophy. Through an exhaustive review of the literature, the generalities of world class maintenance and its interrelation with risk management are studied in depth. The practical application of the proposal, covering all the elements identified as characteristic of world class maintenance in the entity under study, allowed defining the necessary preventive actions to mitigate the risks and effects associated to each failure mode, assigning responsible persons and establishing the frequency of execution of such actions.

Andragogical approach to university teaching for quality educational development

This article focused on exploring the application of the andragogical approach as a way to promote quality educational development in the context of university teaching, seeking to highlight the importance of investigating and reflecting not only on the theoretical concepts of andragogy, but also on the teaching approaches and strategies necessary for its practical implementation in the current context of Venezuelan universities. For this purpose, a documentary and bibliographic study was carried out. The findings suggest that university education in Venezuela must reinvent itself to go beyond technical teaching, promoting critical, creative, ethical, and collaborative skills. The andragogic approach emerges as a fundamental engine to promote an integral, inclusive, and dynamic education, with positive impacts on academic quality and the socio-cultural and economic development of the country.

Reference competencies as part of the training of educational leaders

The objective of the study was to analyze the development of reference competencies in the training of educational leaders. A quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The research was descriptive-correlational. The population consisted of 120 teachers belonging to the educational leadership programs in higher institutions, and the sample was randomly stratified, composed of 92 participants. The data collection technique was the survey, and the instrument applied was a structured questionnaire of 24 items, validated by expert judgment and with a Cronbach alpha of 0.89. The results showed a medium-high level in the mastery of competencies such as effective communication, change management and decision making. It was concluded that these competencies are key in the preparation of school leaders and should be strengthened in training programs through active didactic strategies and continuous evaluation.

Physical education to develop the psychomotor component in secondary school students, Ecuador

This paper analyzes the role of Physical Education in the development of the psychomotor component in secondary school students in Ecuador. A quantitative and descriptive-correlational methodology was used, with a systematic review of 10 studies from Scopus, SciELO, Web of Science and Redalyc. The techniques included surveys, questionnaires and documentary analysis. The results reveal a significant relationship between the systematic practice of Physical Education and the development of motor skills such as coordination, balance, fine and gross motor skills. Likewise, the positive impact of structured and adapted programs is highlighted, especially in vulnerable populations. The evidence suggests that Physical Education not only strengthens motor aspects, but also cognitive and socioemotional ones. It is concluded that its adequate implementation in secondary school contributes in an integral way to the psychomotor development of Ecuadorian students.

This article analysed research competencies in high school students through a systematic review. The approach was qualitative, with a descriptive and analytical documentary design. Ten studies published in databases such as Scopus, SciELO and Redalyc were selected. Systematic review techniques, selection and critical analysis of scientific articles were employed, using data extraction matrices. The studies highlighted that the development of research skills, such as the formulation of questions, handling of sources, critical analysis, and scientific communication, could be significantly improved when active methodologies, collaborative projects and the use of ICT are applied. In addition, teacher training and curricular integration have been key factors to enhance these skills. It was concluded that the promotion of research skills in secondary school has been essential to prepare critical and autonomous students with the ability to face academic and social challenges.

Artificial intelligence and clinical quality: Tools to optimize hospital performance

The aim of this study was to analyse the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving clinical quality and its contribution to hospital performance. It was framed in a qualitative approach, with a documentary type of research, oriented in the systematization of scientific evidence derived from databases such as Scopus, Scielo and Redalyc. The technique employed was content analysis and the instrument was a bibliographic analysis matrix, applied to a sample of five recent scientific studies between the years 2021-2025. The results indicated that AI has offered significant advantages in assisted diagnosis, clinical risk management, prediction of adverse events and personalization of treatments, generating a positive impact on hospital performance indicators. It was concluded that AI, well integrated into clinical practice, represents a strategic tool for efficiency and quality in healthcare.

Human talent management with artificial intelligence and hospital service quality

This article presented a qualitative documentary review whose objective was to systematize the existing scientific evidence on human talent management through artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the quality of hospital services. Through a critical literature review, research indexed in academic databases (Scopus, Scielo and Redalyc) was selected, filtered by thematic relevance, language, and year of publication. The data were organized in an analytical matrix considering authors, year, and main findings. The results showed that AI in human talent management improved recruitment processes, performance monitoring and personnel planning, which translated into greater organizational efficiency and a better perception of hospital service quality. It was concluded that the strategic incorporation of intelligent technologies could optimize decision making in the hospital environment, provided that ethical, human, and professional training factors are considered.

The general objective of the research was to analyze the current state of e-government in Latin America through a systematic review of the literature. Se desarrolló en base al diseño de estudio denominado revisión sistemática, la cual se aboca en analizar en síntesis distintos puntos de vista de diversos autores que han contribuido sobre un problema o variable. In addition, it is based on studying and synthesizing the available literary information, which must be related and provide an answer to a specific question. Likewise, the present study was based on the PRISMA declaration proposal. Literary and academic sources such as Scopus and Scielo, from January 2020 to December 2025, constituted the main source. It is concluded that studies on e-government in Latin America focus mainly on institutional transparency and administrative efficiency, with significant advances in digitization of procedures and reduction of corruption.

This article analysed the relationship between the mental health of public transport drivers and traffic accidents, with a focus on psychological disorders such as stress, anxiety, and Burnout syndrome. Through a documentary and theoretical research design, lessons learned from international studies were extracted. As a result, the need to implement psychological support programs, regulate working hours and improve road infrastructure was pointed out. The general objective of the research was to analyze the right to food for pregnant women in Ecuador. It was carried out under a documentary-bibliographic approach, using a qualitative method. The primary sources included the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the Code of Childhood and Adolescence, the Civil Code, among others. The secondary sources included scientific articles from peer-reviewed journals. The method used was based on exploratory documentary review. In conclusion, the results analyzed reflect an Ecuadorian legal system that, at the normative and jurisprudential level, has evolved to offer comprehensive and early protection to pregnant women through the right to child support. However, the effectiveness of these protections is compromised by the need for greater disclosure of rights.

The general objective of the research was to analyze ethical leadership and job satisfaction. The paradigm of the following research was quantitative, since it was a study that seeks to understand how ethical leadership affects job satisfaction, as a positive element to be applied or, on the contrary, what happens when it is not applied. It was also considered non-experimental research since no variable was manipulated. A questionnaire was applied to thirty workers, consisting of fifteen questions. In conclusion, the worker finds job satisfaction in his daily life, a large part of his daily hours is spent in the workplace, directed by his immediate boss and in relation to his office mates. It is important to have ethical leaders running the company, since the results indicate that an ethical leader is fundamental in the worker's job satisfaction.

Entrepreneurial personality and technological adaptability: a review on the relationship with artificial intelligence

The purpose of this study was to systematically analyze the recent scientific literature linking entrepreneurial personality with technological adaptability in contexts mediated by artificial intelligence, taking into consideration indexed journals belonging to sources such as Scopus, Scielo and Web of Science, both in English and Spanish between the years 2021 and 2025. Methodologically, a qualitative approach with documentary analysis was used. The instrument used was the data collection form. As a result, it was found that the relationship between entrepreneurial personality and technological adaptability constituted a strategic axis to understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital transformation promoted by artificial intelligence. Therefore, it was found that the entrepreneurial personality has been a determining factor for the adoption and use of AI-based technologies.

Use of artificial intelligence platforms in academic writing

The purpose of this study was to analyse the impact of the use of artificial intelligence platforms in the production of academic texts by university students. The research was developed under a qualitative, phenomenological approach, using the in-depth interview technique and content analysis of bibliographic sources. The instruments used were semi-structured questionnaires applied to five university students and record cards, where the emerging categories were synthesized. The results showed improvements in learning, which was demonstrated in the coherence of the writings; however, it was evidenced that these tools could foster technological dependence if they are not applied in a critical manner. In this sense, it was concluded that artificial intelligence has represented a significant support in academic writing, if its use is complemented by the student's own reflection and criteria.

Inclusion and equity in Ecuadorian higher education: challenges for students with special educational needs

This article analyzes the factors that limit the permanence of students with special educational needs (SEN) in Ecuadorian higher education, from an approach of educational inclusion and equity. The study employed a mixed methodology (quantitative-qualitative), based on surveys of 150 students with SEN from three universities and in-depth interviews with 20 key stakeholders (teachers, managers and family members). The results identified three main barriers: (1) lack of curricular adaptations and accessible materials, (2) teachers' lack of knowledge about inclusive pedagogical strategies, and (3) limitations in institutional psycho-emotional support. The conclusions highlight the urgency of policies that transcend access and guarantee real conditions for permanence, through teacher training, early warning systems and specific budgets for inclusion. The study provides empirical evidence to reorient institutional practices in contexts of diversity.

Game strategies in first grade students

The objective of this study was to analyze the incidence of pedagogical games strategies in the strengthening of active participation in first grade students in Manabí, Ecuador, during the year 2025. The study was framed in a qualitative approach, corresponding to a documentary type design, supported by the review of theoretical sources. As a result, these strategies have allowed the design of playful activities adapted to the needs of children, encouraging communication, collaboration and teamwork, as well as fostering motivation, interest and self-confidence. In conclusion, the implementation of pedagogical games has constituted an effective strategy to dynamize the teaching-learning process in the first levels of basic education, favoring the integral development of students and consolidating motivating school environments.

The objective of this study was to analyse the role of ICTs as strategic tools to strengthen research processes in education during the year 2025. The research was developed under a qualitative, documentary approach, using systematic literature review and content analysis techniques. The instrument used included documentary record cards. The results showed that ICTs have facilitated data collection, processing and analysis, promoting innovative and collaborative methodologies, although challenges related to teacher training, technological gaps and information security have persisted. The conclusions synthesized that, despite the obstacles, ICTs have represented an important opportunity to transform educational research, improving its efficiency, quality and scope.

Competencies of social researchers: A systematic review of the literature

The aim of this study was to analyze the fundamental competencies that social researchers should develop in the academic and professional context. It was framed in a qualitative approach and the documentary analysis. The systematic bibliographic review was used as a technique and, the documentary analysis form was used as an instrument. The results showed that the most recurrent competencies included critical thinking, research ethics, management of methods as a basis for philosophical research questioning, empathy as a means of understanding social reality and the ability to disseminate findings effectively. It was concluded that curricular planning has been recognized as a central axis for learning, together with the use of technological tools and interdisciplinarity, which lead to the achievement of research quality and the integral formation of social researchers.

The current study analyzed the comprehensive pedagogical models used for curricular adaptation in children with learning deficits. The research was developed under a qualitative, documentary approach, focused on the review and analysis of scientific literature, educational reports and pedagogical experiences reported in academic articles. Systematic review and content analysis techniques were used, using documentary record cards as an instrument. The results showed that comprehensive pedagogical models have promoted the personalization of learning, active student participation and the inclusion of multisensory and differentiated strategies. It was concluded that the application of these models could significantly improve the attention to children with learning deficits, favoring their cognitive, socioemotional and academic development, and consolidating inclusive pedagogical practices.

Labor competencies and quality of public health services in Peru. A systematic review

This paper analysed the evidence published in Peru between 2020 and 2025 on the relationship between labour competencies and quality of services. For this purpose, a systematic review was carried out following PRISMA 2020 in SciELO and Scopus. We considered empirical studies with a population of health professionals or services that measured competency domains and reported quality outcomes, patient safety, user satisfaction or performance. Twenty studies were included, related to the hospital area and public services. As a result, the most frequent domains were leadership, organizational climate, patient safety culture, digital competencies, intercultural competencies, auditing combined with process management, clinical and research competencies and ethics. It was concluded that the strengthening of labour competencies has constituted a plausible axis for improving the quality and safety of care.

Patient absenteeism and its impact on the quality of hospital care in Ecuador

Patient absenteeism at medical appointments is a recurrent problem in Ecuadorian hospitals, as it affects the efficiency of the service and has an impact on the quality of care. The objective of this research was to analyse the impact of patient absenteeism on the quality of hospital care in Ecuador during the year 2025. The study was developed under a quantitative, descriptive approach with the participation of 150 health professionals, to whom a survey was applied. The techniques used were the review of hospital records and the survey, using a structured questionnaire as an instrument. The results showed that absenteeism could generate loss of resources, increased waiting times and a decrease in the continuity of treatment. Therefore, it was concluded that the reduction of absenteeism requires reminder strategies, patient awareness and optimization of hospital management.

Competencies in document management: A critical analysis of contemporary models and theories

The purpose of this article was to analyse contemporary theories and models on competency in document management, evaluating their characteristics, associated methodologies and their applicability in current organizational contexts. A theoretical review article methodology was used, which allowed for a systematic collection and analysis of 20 articles related to the topic. The findings indicated that organizations that have implemented a well-defined competency-based approach have succeeded in optimizing their document processes, improving service quality and increasing customer satisfaction. The most relevant conclusion suggested that intervention in the development of document management competencies has been crucial to ensure organizational effectiveness in a constantly evolving work environment. This study highlighted the need for an integrative conceptual framework that combined technical and socioemotional skills, thus promoting more effective and adaptive document management in different contexts.

Digital transformation as a catalyst for business change

The aim of this article is to analyse digital transformation as a catalyst for business change. This was done through quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional descriptive research with correlational support. A structured survey of 30 items was applied to a sample of 120 participants, using a Likert scale with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.90. The data were analysed using SPSS version 28, applying Spearman's correlation coefficient due to the non-normal distribution of the variables. The results revealed a highly significant positive correlation (Rho=0.897, p<0.01) between digital evolution and business change. The most correlated dimensions were process transformation (Rho=0.892), human capital management (Rho=0.876) and organisational adaptability (Rho=0.845). It is concluded that digital evolution is a determining factor in driving comprehensive organisational transformations in today's business environment.

Curricular innovation: A space for collective learning

The objective of this research was to theorize substantively on curricular innovations linked to individual and collective learning at UNEFM. The theoretical support was provided by the different conceptions of innovation, curriculum and curricular innovation. Methodologically, the study was based on the canons of the interpretative paradigm using the referents of the Grounded Theory and Case Study research methods. Four (4) categories were identified: rethinking of management, valorization of research, possibility of professional and institutional improvement, generation of clear standards. Establishing as a central theoretical proposition that universities should take learning as a way of generating desirable change. Understanding that individual learning is a necessary but not sufficient condition for curricular innovation. Assuming it as a collective construction requires collective learning, product of interactions and interrelations of individual learning.

Public management policies to improve organizational processes in hospitals. A systematic review

The purpose of this study was to synthesize international, national and regional evidence on public management policies in order to organize organizational processes in hospitals and to assess their transferability to the context of a hospital in Piura. The methodology used was a qualitative, employing a systematized bibliographic review with narrative synthesis as a technique. Searches were conducted in Scopus, SciELO and Redalyc. Explicit eligibility criteria and a PRISMA flow were applied. The sample included 20 articles published between 2021 and 2025. As a result, the synthesis grouped the findings into five axes: governance and management by results, digital transformation, provision and development of competencies, incentives linked to performance, and evaluation of technologies in hospitals. As a conclusion, the combination of governance by results, staff capabilities and digital support allowed the translation of policies into sustainable operational improvements. Transferability to the Piura environment is high if enabling conditions are ensured.

Active participation through ludic activities of the first grade students in basic education

The purpose of this study was to analyse the active participation of first grade students through the implementation of ludic activities in the classroom. A descriptive quantitative approach was used in order to identify the frequency and level of students’ involvement during these activities. The population consisted of 150 teachers, selected by purposive sampling. The techniques used included direct observation and structured survey, while the instruments consisted of an observation guide and a participation questionnaire. The results showed that the ludic activities significantly increased motivation, peer interaction and attention during class development. It was concluded that the incorporation of educational games and dynamics could encourage active participation, promoting meaningful learning and strengthening social skills in students of first grade and other levels.

This article analysed the relationship between emotional intelligence and the labour market insertion of university graduates, considering its impact on professional adaptation and employability. The methodology was framed in a qualitative approach and a documentary type, with the support of articles from journals indexed in Scopus, Scielo and Redalyc, which contributed their perceptions and significant experiences. Bibliographic review and content analysis were used as techniques, while the instruments included interview guides and systematization matrices. The results evidenced determining factors such as self-awareness, emotional regulation and empathy in selection processes, interpersonal relationships and work performance. In conclusion, emotional intelligence was configured as a key transversal competence to strengthen the employability and adaptation of graduates.

Peacebuilding and guarantee of human rights in Latin America. Systematic review

The purpose of this study was to analyse the relationship between peacebuilding and the guarantee of human rights in Latin America through a systematic review of scientific literature. A qualitative documentary approach was adopted, focused on the analysis of articles from journals indexed in Scielo, Redalyc and Scopus, related to peace policies, human rights and social conflicts. The main technique was content analysis, using an analytical matrix as an instrument designed to organize the information extracted and, therefore, the categorization of the data. The results identified common aspects in peace-building strategies, promotion of human rights and institutional challenges in the region. It was concluded that guaranteeing human rights has been essential for sustainable peace processes in Latin America.

Supply plan for the production of hybrid limb prostheses based on future demand

Ensuring the efficiency of productive activities requires data to ensure decision-making. The manufacture of hybrid prostheses requires knowing the future demand to define production levels and estimate resources. The research developed a procedure to establish a procurement plan for hybrid prostheses for upper and lower limbs, based on forecasts of unmet demand. The work applies a qualitative methodology, descriptive and documentary in scope, based on data analysis on people with partial or total amputations of their upper or lower limbs. The proposal was implemented in the transtibial and transradial prosthesis manufacturing process, based on the forecasting of demand through a future population model. The application of the procedure demonstrated the feasibility of planning the production of hybrid prostheses and planning the supply of their inputs based on the forecast of future demand.

Educational management and teacher professional development: findings from a systematic review

This study conducts a systematic review using the PRISMA methodology. 22 scientific articles related to teacher professional development was analyzed. The identified problems include insufficient professional development, resistance to change, and the limited incorporation of pedagogical innovations. The overall objective was to design an educational management program that strengthens teacher competencies, promotes innovation, and aligns teaching practice with institutional strategic goals. The results demonstrate that the most effective programs include dimensions or components such as needs assessment, ongoing training, shared leadership, formative assessment, and use of ICTs. Based on these ideas, a Teacher Professional Development Program is also designed, implemented, and evaluated. Evidence supports the relevance of its implementation for transforming classroom practices, increasing motivation, and improving quality.

Public procurement and quality of works in municipal governments. Systematic review

This article aims to analyze the relationship between public procurement processes and the quality of works executed by municipal governments, through a systematic review of scientific literature published between 2022 and 2025. The methodology was based on the search and analysis of indexed documents from international databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, and Redalyc, applying defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results highlight the presence of theoretical clusters related to procurement efficiency, transparency, corruption, municipal management, and quality of work. The main contribution of this review lies in the identification of theoretical patterns, research gaps, and improvement opportunities, with particular emphasis on the Peruvian context, where structural limitations continue to affect public works management and the implementation of more efficient and transparent municipal policies.

Cosmetic surgery and strict liability. New challenges for contemporary Peruvian civil law

The objective of the research is to determine the legal configuration of the regime of attribution of the objective liability of the physician in cosmetic surgery interventions. A descriptive research of a dogmatic-legal nature was carried out, focused on the systematic and interpretative analysis of the current regulatory framework, the specialized doctrine and the relevant jurisprudence on medical liability in cosmetic surgery. The strict liability of the doctor in cosmetic surgery in Peru is restricted by the absence of a specific regulatory framework and a subjective model based on fault, negligence or incompetence. Doctrine and jurisprudence suggest moving towards a regime of strict liability in proceedings focused on the non-compliant result and the risk created. This would strengthen patient protection and promote more rigorous standards of diligence, informed consent, and institutional control. In short, strict liability would function as a preventive and corrective mechanism adapted to cosmetic surgery.

Performance of high school students in virtual learning environments. A systematic review

The objective of the research is to analyze the empirical and theoretical evidence on the academic performance of high school students in Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), identifying the factors that influence, the strategies implemented and the main trends. Following the PRISMA 2020 methodology, a search was conducted across several high-prestige databases, identifying 67 works as potential references; 24 articles were included for the final analysis. The results are organized into categories such as: factors influencing student performance; the effectiveness of teaching strategies; and student perception regarding the use of VLEs. The findings indicate that performance in VLEs is multifactorially determined by aspects such as teacher engagement, the integration of ICTs, and the development of specific student skills. In conclusion, the need to conceive intentional instructional designs for these purposes is emphasized.

Artificial intelligence, academic empowerment and digital inclusion in higher education. Student perceptions

The objective of the study was to analyze the perceptions of university students on the use of artificial intelligence in higher education and its potential to strengthen academic empowerment and digital inclusion. The study used a mixed approach, employing survey and documentary review techniques. The findings showed that students positively valued these tools, recognizing them as useful for fostering autonomous learning, improving academic writing, and facilitating equitable access to information. However, they expressed concerns regarding overreliance, lack of clear ethical frameworks, and inequities in access to AI platforms. It was concluded that AI has offered significant opportunities to democratize education and reduce digital divides, provided that its application is accompanied by institutional policies that promote critical, responsible and ethical use.

Project-based learning for competency constructs historical interpretations

The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of project-based learning in the development of the competence construct historical interpretations in the students of an educational institution in Julcán. This was applied research, with a pre-experimental design, quantitative approach, longitudinal cut and explanatory level. The sample consisted of 20 students. The technique was the survey and, the questionnaire was used as an instrument. The results revealed that, prior to the application of project-based learning, the competence to constructs historical interpretations was at a low level with 70%, medium with 15% and high with 15%. After its application, it obtained a low level of 10%, medium level of 20% and high level of 70% and a value lower than 0.05 (p = 0.00) in the Wilcoxon test. Therefore, it was concluded that the application of learning workshops based on projects developed the competence of constructing historical interpretations in students.

Musical learning for communicative skills in students of an initial educational institution, Perú

The current study aimed to determine the effects of musical learning on the development of communicative skills in students of an Initial Educational Institution in Andahuaylas. For this purpose, a quantitative approach was used with an experimental design and a pre-experimental subdesign of longitudinal cut. The results showed a significance level of p < 0.05, indicating that musical learning had a statistical influence on the general development of communication skills. In addition, significant impacts were identified in the specific dimensions of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, supported by effect sizes of 1.000. In conclusion, musical learning contributed significantly to the development of communicative skills in students of an Initial Educational Institution in Andahuaylas, evidenced by statistically significant changes and supported by effect sizes. These results highlighted the relevance of integrating music education in educational environments to strengthen students' communicative skills.

Socioeconomic indicators of local municipal development in Santa Elena, Ecuador

The objective of this article was to analyze the socioeconomic indicators of local municipal development in Santa Elena, Ecuador, considering their impact on the living conditions of the population and on local public management. The techniques employed were documentary observation and content analysis, while the instruments used included record cards, comparative matrices and thematic analysis guides. The results showed that employment, education, infrastructure and citizen participation indicators are determinants of municipal progress. It was concluded that the strengthening of local policies based on socioeconomic evidence has favoured the sustainable and equitable development of the territory.

Artificial intelligence as a tool for learning personalization. Potential, challenges, and educational perspectives

The review aims to analyze how artificial intelligence (AI) contributes to the personalization of learning by identifying its potentialities, challenges and educational perspectives between 2019 and 2025. A qualitative study was developed under the PRISMA 2020 guidelines reviewing 65 international studies. Three axes were identified: the pedagogical and technological benefits of AI in the adaptation of content and learning rhythms; the ethical, methodological and equity limitations in its implementation; and emerging trends towards smart and inclusive learning ecosystems. The results show that AI allows for more adaptive, autonomous and efficient learning, but its effectiveness depends on teacher mediation, digital literacy and the establishment of ethical frameworks. It is concluded that AI does not replace the teacher but rather expands their ability to personalize and accompany the educational process, if applied responsibly and oriented to the common good.

Teacher emotional intelligence and classroom coexistence. A systematic critical review

The objective is to systematically analyze recent academic production on the relationship between the emotional intelligence of the area teacher and classroom coexistence. A qualitative methodology was applied, based on the PRISMA guidelines, with a search in the Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC and SciELO databases. Of 1248 initial records, 45 empirical studies were selected after a screening process and thematic analysis. The results show that emotional intelligence, conceived as a cognitive ability, predicts more positive classroom climates, favoring non-punitive teaching strategies and effective conflict regulation. However, cross-sectional and self-report studies predominate, limiting causal inferences. It is concluded that the strengthening of socio-emotional teacher training, sustained and contextualized, constitutes a strategic axis to improve school coexistence and guide more comprehensive educational policies.

Influence of design thinking methodology in improving teaching performance

The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of the design thinking methodology in the teaching performance improvement of higher education students in Otuzco city. Methodologically, it was applied, with a quasi-experimental design, a quantitative approach, a longitudinal cut and an explanatory level. The sample consisted of 48 higher education students of the VI cycle. The survey technique was used and the questionnaire was employed as an instrument. The results of the post-test showed that 100% of the control group was in process while 100% of the experimental group was in achieved. The Whitney Mann U test was used for the data, which yielded a significance level of less than 0.05, accepting the alternative hypothesis. It was concluded that the application of the design thinking methodology workshop significantly improves the teaching performance of higher education students in Otuzco.

Public management in the competencies of nursing personnel. A systematic review

This systematic review aimed to examine the impact of public management on the competencies of nursing personnel in health services. The analysis drew on studies published between 2021 and 2025, selected using predefined methodological criteria and synthesized through thematic analysis. Findings were organized into six domains: legal framework, technical and managerial capacities, leadership, institutional ethics, continuing education, and innovation. More effective interventions combined practical training, organizational support, and professional recognition. The current study aimed to analyze the integration between urban sustainability and disaster risk management through a systematic review of scientific literature. It was developed under a qualitative approach and documentary research. The results showed that urban sustainability and risk management have converged in resilient planning, ecological design and community participation. Forensic auditing in the execution of public works in Peru

The objective of this study was to analyze the experiences and perceptions of professionals in the digital management of public investment projects in the Peruvian context in relation to the use of forensic audits. The research was developed under a qualitative phenomenological approach, aimed at understanding the essence of the 5 key informants' experiences. Semi-structured interviews and direct observation were used as techniques, using as an instrument a guide of open questions about auditing processes and experiences in the supervision of works. The results showed that forensic auditing has contributed significantly to identify irregularities, improve transparency and strengthen accountability through the use of digital tools. It was concluded that its systematic application has been key to optimize the management of public works in Peru.

Regional public investment management in Peru

The purpose of this study was to analyze the students' perception of the efficiency and impact of public investment in the country's labor market. The research was developed under a quantitative and descriptive approach, aimed at identifying trends and characteristics regarding the state management of resources destined to employment. The population consisted of 50 university students of careers related to economics and public management. A structured survey and descriptive statistical analysis were applied as techniques, using a five-level Likert scale questionnaire as an instrument. The results showed that most of them have perceived a deficient management of labor public investment, especially in the transparency and distribution of resources. Therefore, as a conclusion, there is a need to strengthen the planning, evaluation and supervision of public investment policies to improve their social and economic impact.

Municipal administration and risk management: protection of tourist areas in Latin America

The study synthesizes evidence on the municipal strategies applied in the main tourist spots in Latin America between 2017 and 2024. The objective was to examine the risk management strategies implemented by municipal administrations in Latin American tourist destinations. Based on a systematic review of indexed literature, technological, operational, and community approaches were identified and their impact on the perception of safety and tourism sustainability was evaluated. The results show positive effects when interventions are integrated into governance frameworks with stable funding, continuous evaluation, and technical training. However, gaps persist caused by institutional fragmentation, lack of follow-up, and limited policy continuity. It is concluded that moving towards comprehensive models, with systematic monitoring and greater intersectoral articulation, is essential to consolidate safe and resilient tourism environments.

Challenges and opportunities: evaluation of educational policies for flexible pathways in technological higher education

The aim of this article was to systematically evaluate educational policies related to flexible educational pathways in different national contexts, identifying their strengths and weaknesses in order to propose policy improvements. A systematic review methodology was employed, analyzing 18 policy-related articles to provide a comprehensive view of their current status. The results revealed that, although flexible policies have improved access and equity, they have faced significant limitations, such as the lack of evaluation mechanisms and adequate resources. As a relevant conclusion, the development of clear and coherent policy frameworks was highlighted in order to prioritize student welfare, enriching the academic field and promoting more inclusive and effective educational practices in the future.

Parental training in the educational of students with autism. Systematic review

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was based on conducting a literature review on the parental training of students with autism. Articles published in Scielo, Scopus, web of Science and Redalyc databases between 2019 and 2025 were selected. A qualitative methodology of documentary analysis was applied. A structured data collection form was used for the collection of information. As a result, a final number of 17 studies was obtained. The findings showed a scarce scientific production on parental training in this context, which has suggested a limited interest in carrying out systematic review studies on this topic. As a conclusion, it has been necessary to encourage more in-depth and contextualized research, in order to actively integrate the voices of parents and children with ASD in the design and implementation of these programs, especially in the formal educational setting.
