Resumen

El objetivo general de la investigación fue analizar el rendimiento académico como variable institucional que afecta la calidad educativa. Se constituyó en una revisión narrativa de la calidad educativa y el rendimiento académico; para lo cual, se utilizó el método QR, que consistió en la formulación de las interrogantes. Seguidamente, a fin de dar respuesta a las interrogantes definidas, se realizó la búsqueda en Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect y ProQuest, centrándose en el periodo de tiempo desde el 2022 hasta 2024, usándose descriptores. Se aplicaron criterios de inclusión y exclusión. En conclusión, existen diversos elementos que están relacionados con el rendimiento académico; sin embargo, se advierte que algunos de ellos intervienen constantemente en los diferentes contextos que se analicen, siendo estos, el nivel socioeconómico y cultural, la responsabilidad, las políticas educativas, las instalaciones, la familia, la motivación, la forma de enseñanza, los docentes y la interacción.
