Abstract

The objective of the research presented here was to develop a procedure to describe the incidence of organizational climate on the job satisfaction of university teachers in Cumaná, Venezuela. The proposed procedure is the result of the exchange with the scientific literature and the different theoretical models that have been published on the subject; it is structured in four fundamental phases: in the first two, individual diagnoses of the organizational climate and job satisfaction variables are made, in the third phase both variables are correlated and finally, in the fourth phase, an intervention proposal is made, adjusted to the needs of the context. The main results of the research are given in the contribution of this procedure and in the methodological clarity with which it is described, which allows it to be perfectly replicable to scenarios similar to the Venezuelan educational context, in addition to the improvement proposal it provides.
