Human resource management in the healthcare sector

Abstract

The objective of the research was to establish the importance of human resource management in the health sector. The research was exploratory, analytical, non-experimental, and cross-sectional, using a sample of 10 articles from the Scielo, Web of Science, and Scopus platforms. Among the results, the importance of human resource management for organizations was highlighted, considering people as the most valuable and strategic asset of the company, as their performance has influenced productivity, organizational culture, and the company's ability to achieve its goals. In the field of health, human resource management has been the central pillar of quality patient care and health safety. As a conclusion, in this sector, errors or inefficiency have a direct impact on people's lives and well-being.
