Aplicación del método Lean Healthcare en hospitales. Evidencia global y perspectiva peruana
Resumen
El estudio analiza la producción científica relacionada con la aplicación del método Lean Healthcare para la mejora continua de calidad en los hospitales. El objetivo de la investigación fue examinar el potencial del método Lean Healthcare como herramienta de modernización del sistema de hospitales públicos en Perú. Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica con trabajos investigativos en bases de datos de revistas indexadas que hacen referencia a a avances en eficiencia operativa, seguridad del usuario y gobernanza hospitalaria. Se obtuvieron datos de diversos países que confirman la viabilidad del modelo Lean Healthcare. A nivel nacional, diversos estudios han mostrado resultados satisfactorios en la gestión ambulatoria y en la percepción de la calidad del servicio. La evidencia sugiere que el modelo surge como una herramienta estratégica para la transformación institucional en concordancia con las metas de desarrollo sostenible y las directrices nacionales destinadas a optimizar la gestión pública de salud.
