Management strategies for the development of emotional intelligence in an electricity company

Abstract

The objective of the research was to propose management strategies for the development of emotional intelligence in an electricity company. Methodologically, the research was framed in the descriptive study modality, with a non-experimental field design. In the results; With respect to the variable management strategies and the dimension management functions, it was possible to demonstrate that the indicators plan, organize, direct and control have a positive trend. In relation to the emotional intelligence variable and the emotional intelligence dimension, workers perceive the self-awareness, self-control and empathy indicators as positive. In conclusion, self-motivation on average is positive, but there is a significant percentage of unmotivated people. The social skills indicator has variable behavior. On the one hand, the respondents maintain good relationships in their work environment, but on the other hand, they have difficulty socializing with their colleagues. of work.
