Occupational analysis of the personnel of a construction and maintenance company

Abstract

The objective of the research was to carry out an occupational analysis of the personnel of a construction and maintenance company. The research was methodologically non-experimental in design, type of field and descriptive level. The results reflected that when carrying out the occupational analysis in the organization, the performance criteria are not taken into account, nor are the workers explained the different circumstances that they will face in the workplace, managers and supervisors. They do not show the evidence and evidence derived from the performance of workers and supervisors once the performance evaluation is completed, they do not present the results in a way that is understandable to those evaluated, lacking convincing evidence about the performance evaluation process. In conclusion, the job description presents deficiencies, the company does not consider the intrinsic aspects, such as position of the position in the organizational chart, subordination and extrinsic aspects
