Abstract

The purpose of this article was to analyze research skills in secondary education through the educational use of artificial intelligence in Peru. Methodologically, the research focused on a quantitative, documentary, and descriptive study, employing techniques based on literature review and content analysis. Also, data sheets and analysis matrices were used as instruments. As a result, it was found that artificial intelligence (AI) is related to information processing, the simulation of cognitive processes, and decision-making through pedagogical mediation, in support of the development of research skills, which facilitate the interpretation of theory, techniques, educational practice, and all aspects of reality. Finally, it was concluded that AI promotes the development of research skills in secondary school level.
