Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze the dynamics of entrepreneurship in regions with a presence of extractive industries: A systematic review. It was based on a descriptive, quantitative paradigm and was complemented with a documentary-bibliographic design. This allowed the collection of information extracted from refereed articles, using the analytical method, orienting and complementing the study of aspects. In conclusion, extractive industries, such as mining and oil, generate a favorable economic environment for certain types of ventures, mainly those related to the supply chain and specialized services. Their impact is ambivalent. Although they create opportunities for some sectors, regional dependence on these resources tends to generate mono-specialized economies, limiting economic diversification.
