Management and collaborative work of teachers from a local educational management unit, Peru
Abstract
Management is key in improving the organizational climate and promoting effective pedagogical practices in educational institutions. The research objective is to explain the influence of management on the collaborative work of teachers in a Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL) in the Junín Region during the year 2024. To achieve this purpose, a quantitative approach was used, considering a population of 615 teachers and a sample of 133. The results reveal that the Nagelkerke coefficient of determination (R²), used in ordinal regressions to measure the explanatory capacity of the model, was 75.1 %, indicating a high level of explanation of the model. These findings constitute empirical evidence of a positive and significant relationship between the variables. It is concluded that the strengthening of collaborative work requires a managerial management that transcends the administrative and promotes an institutional culture of joint learning.
