Public policies on the prevention of teenage pregnancy in rural and urban areas, Peru
Abstract
The objective of the article was to determine which research supports public policies on the prevention of teenage pregnancies from 2020 to 2024. The research adopts a systematic review approach. Documents registered in Scopus, Scielo, ResearchGate, Wiley, MDPI, EBSCO, DOAJ, CrossRef, of high quality and reliability in their methodology and from the period 2020 to 2024 were used. We found 302 publications and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 15 studies were chosen for analysis. The study proposes that public policies for the prevention of adolescent pregnancy are an investment in their future and that of society in general. By addressing social, economic, and cultural factors, adolescent girls are encouraged to make healthy choices and reach their full potential.
