Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the variables of workplace competency management and the labor market integration of graduates from the INFODAT Educational, Technological, and Business Institution in the district of El Tambo, Peru. Methodologically, a descriptive study with a specific correlational design was conducted. The sample consisted of 87 graduates from various occupational specializations. Data for the “Competency Management” variable were collected using a pedagogical exit exam, and the “Labor Market Integration” variable was assessed using an evaluative observation scale. Hypothesis testing was performed using Pearson’s r coefficient. The results confirmed the existence of a strong positive correlation between the level of work competency management and the labor market integration of graduates from the INFODAT Institute of Technology and Business Education. It was concluded that work competencies have been effective in achieving high levels of success.
