Quality management strategies for continuous improvement in pharmaceutical companies

Abstract

The research presented has the general objective of proposing quality management strategies that allow the continuous improvement of the FARMAFALCA company. The research was positivist, with a non-experimental research design, the type was field, descriptive and the project modality was feasible; the technique was the survey and the instrument the questionnaire. The validity of the instrument was made through expert judgments and for reliability the results of the pilot test were adjusted through the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, which yielded a value of 0.784, demonstrating a high level of reliability. The results showed that the quality management variable, the principle dimension of quality management and the diagnostic indicators of processes, leadership, staff participation, continuous improvement, decision-making and management approach; they reflected weaknesses; aspects that must be corrected by FARMAFALCA.
