Empirical managerial practices in an environment of uncertainty in artisanal fishing activity
Abstract
The purpose of the research was to understand the empirical management practices in an environment of uncertainty in the artisanal fishing activity of the municipality of La Cañada de Urdaneta in the state of Zulia. The methodology used was an experientialist epistemological approach, with an interpretative paradigm, a qualitative nature method, with the ethnography methodology, the techniques were participant observation, interview and instruments field notes and semi-structured interview script. The Results allowed to explain the creation of a theoretical model of empirical management practices in an environment of uncertainty, divided into three phases, the first called initiation and maturation of the idea to be undertaken, the second called development and implementation of the idea undertaken and the third consolidation and maturation of the enterprise. In conclusion, it was possible to know the evolution of the empirical management practices in the artisanal fishing activity, finding that the teaching-learning process is constant; which allowed to gain work experience.
