Performance evaluation and training of personnel in the police human talent department

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the performance evaluation and the training of the staff of the human talent office of the mayor's office of the Miranda municipality. Regarding the method, the study was descriptive and correlational, with a non-experimental and transectional field design. It was demonstrated that the indicators benefits for the manager, benefits for the worker and benefits for the organization had negative trends, the mission indicator was positive, while the vision was negative. The knowledge, skills and attitude indicators were positive, the workers have knowledge of administrative terminology, they treat the public courteously, and the staff has good skills and abilities. In conclusion, a Pearson correlation coefficient (rxy) equal to 0.01027 was obtained, which indicates a very low positive relationship between the aforementioned variables, that is, if the performance evaluation improves, the training improves slightly.
