Strategies based on emotional intelligence

Abstract

The objective of this research is to propose strategies based on emotional intelligence in the company FARMATODO Coro. The research applied a deductive method. The results showed that the emotional intelligence variable and its indicators self-knowledge, self-motivation, empathy, social skills, negotiation and meditation were positive, while the emotional self-control indicator was negative. In conclusion, the emotional self-control indicator was negative, showing that workers do not know how to manage their emotions in certain circumstances, an aspect that should be corrected due to the volume of clients to which they are exposed in the company FARMATODO Coro. In reference to the interpersonal components dimension, the results indicated that the workers of FARMATODO Coro put empathy into practice and manage social skills.
