Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze educational flexibility tools in technical higher education and their effects on employability through a systematic review. The methodology employed a qualitative approach based on documentary research. The techniques used were systematic review and content analysis, and the tools employed included data sheets and analysis matrices. The PRISMA methodology was used to select articles. The results highlighted a growing international interest in methodologies focused on prior knowledge, the promotion of online education, and the implementation of policies that strengthen an academic process aligned with students’ professional practice, with flexible instruments playing a key role. In conclusion, flexible pathways in higher education have been perceived as fundamental strategies for optimizing responsiveness to societal demands.
