Abstract

Ergonomic risks represent a key factor in occupational health, directly influencing workers’ well-being and the quality of services provided. At Hotel and Spa Gamboa, located in Baños de Agua Santa, a study with an observational, prospective, and cross-sectional analytical approach was conducted to identify and evaluate these risks across different job positions. The main objective was to determine the level of ergonomic risk and propose preventive measures that foster a safe and positive work environment. The results revealed significant risks, particularly in tasks such as pool cleaning, where the REBA method showed that 44 % of workers are exposed to a medium or higher level of risk. These findings highlight the need to implement effective ergonomic interventions tailored to specific tasks, in order to reduce exposure and improve working conditions within the hospitality sector.
