Organizational culture in the postgraduate area

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the organizational culture in the postgraduate area of the Universidad Nacional Experimental Rafael María Baralt. Methodologically, the research was non-experimental, descriptive, and the instrument was a questionnaire. The results showed through the dimension elements of organizational culture that the indicators history, mission and vision, present weaknesses, due to the fact that managers and organizational leaders almost never and never tell the story of employees who serve as an example with respect to integral behavior, likewise there is almost total ignorance of the mission and vision of the organization and with respect to values most of the employees consulted stated that almost never and never an organizational culture based on values is cultivated. In conclusion, the organizational culture presents weaknesses, because the innovative activities of the employees are hardly supported by the organization.
